Dionicio Morales dedicated his life to his fellow Mexican Americans. Born into a life of picking fruit, he rose through education, volunteerism, public life, presidential appointments, and founding the largest Mexican American service non-profit in the USA.
During the evening of Wednesday, September 24th, Dr. Dionicio Morales, 89, died peacefully at Beverly Hospital in Montebello, CA. He was surrounded by his family. Please direct all questions to daughter Magdalena Morales at 323-255-4241 or magda@dmoralesfoundation.org.

DM deeded his materials to UCLA. UCLA's Chicano Studies Research Center will collaborate with the
Dionicio Morales Foundation on several programs including the the Dionicio
Morales documentary.
